Shop local this holiday season! We are giving away a $25 Village Gift Certificate each day starting December 10th thru the 22nd. Winners must be local and able to pick up their certificate in person no later than end of the day on December 23rd.

THANK YOU to everyone who visited this amazing event and voted for our tree, to all the incredible members and volunteers with Zonta Club of Traverse City who work so hard to make this event possible, and to all the other participants who poured their hearts into their trees and helped kick off this holiday season with so much J-O-Y!! CONGRATULATIONS to The Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park - our wonderful friends and neighbors at The Village at Grand Traverse Commons!! ❤️💚

🎄 If you missed the event, our tree represented some of our favorite things: flowers, decor, and heartfelt gifts! We used an assortment of our favorite felt garlands and berry branches that are fair-trade and made by hand to add a special touch to our tree. Then we mixed in an assortment of silk, dried, and fresh floral and greenery to add some texture and incredible scent. And last but not least, we adorned the tree with beautiful beaded ornaments and little “Thoughtfulls” - small inspirational pop-open messages for anyone needing a positive note filled with love and light this holiday season! ✨

Our one peony bloom, yes ONE, that we have been watching develop in our garden for weeks finally burst open this morning! You have to start somewhere, right? Bidding starts at… priceless 😍 If that’s not in your budget, we’ll have more from local farms in the coming weeks!

Rain is in the forecast tomorrow, so come in where it’s dry and warm and you can literally smell the roses! We’ve teamed up with Sanctuary Goods (IG: .goods) on a fun Mother’s Day special; purchase this painting and receive a replica as a fresh flower arrangement for free! The recipient of the flowers will enjoy the beautiful fragrance of the flowers for days, and an everlasting memory of the floral arrangement as a painting.

Of course we’ll be creating and showing off some gorgeous flowers this Mother’s Day… but first we want to highlight a few of our favorite products made by some incredibly talented local mothers & small business owners! The beautiful artwork from Emily , heavenly scented candles from Kelsey , and the terrific “10 toxin free” nail polish from KC can all be found in our gift shop. We’re so proud to carry these exceptionally well crafted items from these gifted women, and hope you’ll keep small women-owned businesses in mind when choosing a special gift this Mother’s Day!
