It was a busy weekend at the Venue!! Friday night we hosted a college grad party for 56 guests 🎓, Saturday morning we hosted a beautiful Bridal shower for 56 guests 🌿, Saturday night we hosted a Boo 👻 themed baby shower for 64, then today (no photos yet) we hosted a Bridal Shower 💐 for 40 guests.

I just couldn’t wait another week (lol) SO, we’ve transitioned our entry way decor to pretty, neutral Tuscan Farmhouse FALL 🍂 decor and it turned out so darn pretty! I absolutely SWOON over all of the Fall 🍂 colors, don’t you?! It’s personally my favorite time of year. 🤎 All new florals, vases, candles, and signage is from Marshall’s. Let the Fall bookings begin! 🤎🧡

The sudden, or anticipated passing of a loved one is such a heartbreaking and overwhelming time for anyone and we here at City Venue will do whatever we can to accommodate you. 💛 We we’re contacted last night for a Wednesday wake and pulled the team together to get our space ready to receive this family & their loved ones tomorrow. 🤍 If you or anyone you know is in need of a nice space to hold a celebration of life or wake, please never hesitate to reach out to us. We will do everything we can to accommodate you and make this difficult time a little less stressful. 🤍 Prayers going out to this gentleman’s family and all who loved him. 💛🙏🏼

It was another busy 4 party weekend at the Venue! 🤍 Saturday morning we hosted a beautiful Bridal Shower 🌿 for 48 guests. Decor was all done by me, Meredith. 😊 This is an extra service we offer to make your day less stressful. Desserts were catered by Tony Cannoli Sweets & Eats! Saturday evening we hosted a beautiful wedding reception 🌻 for 64 guests! Decor was also done by me. 😊 Food was catered by Baldo's Italian Restaurant, Sunflower centerpieces were made by Love You Bunches & Bunches Your Local Flower Shop, and the pretty desserts were made by the bride, Molly Pop's Cake Shoppe and they were absolutely DELICIOUS! I’d highly recommend them! This morning we hosted an adorable woodland 🪵 themed Baby shower for 64 guests! I’m so grateful for the photos they sent me as I was unavailable to make it to take pics. And tonight we’re hosting a Mardi Gras themed bday party for 30 guests! 🥳 We are so honored to have been able to host every one of you! 🙏🏼

This weekend we hosted two BEAUTIFUL 🤩 Bridal showers!!

Saturday’s shower was set up for 72 guests and featured the coolest Flower Bar 🌺 by My Perfect Party! I was lucky enough to be a guest and got to make one of the adorable bouquets. Such a great idea!! Everything looked absolutely stunning and we now own the florals used for the centerpieces as well as the blush runners! LOVE adding pretty things to our decor closet! 💕 The brunch was catered by TRUAGO and as always, it was delicious!

Today’s shower was set up for 40 guests and had the cutest little donut bar set up! 🍩 All of the centerpieces, candles, and runners are ours 😃 as well as all of the dessert displays and they did a stunning job decorating the rest! 💕 Everything was so pretty and elegant. I just love seeing everyone’s party’s come together after so much planning! The balloon arch was done by our most booked balloon art vendor Nini's Sweet Creation's!

Phase 2 of the Trafford Square revamp is DONE!!! 😍😍 (on our side of the plaza that is). It looks AHHHHHMAZING!!!!! Everyone’s walkway signage really pops and it makes this plaza look so elegant! Looking forward to more updating, getting our signage, and the future! 🎉

EXCITING THINGS HAPPENING TO TRAFFORD SQUARE! 😍🎉 Phase one of the plaza facelift is happening now…. Out with the 90’s green and in with the clean crisp gray!!! 🥳 Phase 2 will be painting all the white on the walkway ceilings and above the windows black! It’s going to look INCREDIBLE!!! AND… I had quite the influence on the landlord over the final color choices 👏🏼 which I’m super excited about. ❤️ This corner is coming back to life, new businesses are going in, and Van Horn & Fort will be booming once again. We really hit the jackpot getting in here when we did in the most perfect space. 😊 There are a handful of completely renovated suites still available if you’re looking for a great spot to open a biz! The parking lot has been getting re-done little by little as well and it’s starting to come together nicely. Proud to be a Trenton Small Business. 🙏🏼 Stay tuned for more updates! This weekend we hosted two grad parties and two baby showers! 🎉 Below, the first 5 photos are pictures I took of the full room of one of the Baby Showers, and the rest were taken by one of our preferred photographers, Yandura Photography who did a BEAUTIFUL job capturing all of the incredible details!! 😍 This wild flower theme was lovely and definitely swoon worthy!! The details were impeccable! 🤍 I’ll share photos of the other events as they’re sent to us. 😊

Last night, yes….TUESDAY (a GREAT afternoon to host a shower!)…. My sweet friends/colleagues Halee & Zach celebrated their baby to be at our little venue and it was such a wonderful time! (LOVED being a guest at my venue! 😊) The decor was beautiful and the company was wonderful. Todays event is a beautiful baby shower set up for 80 guests! 💙🤍🤎 This is a set up we’ve only done one other time I believe so here’s a peek at yet another way you can set tables up in our space for full capacity! 😊 Also wanted to include a couple angles I don’t usually post…. Shots from the back of the space looking to the front and photos of our XL kitchenette space! This is something I don’t usually capture because it’s typically not a “pretty” space to take photos of but thought I should share what it looks like here and there. 😊 Two 6ft tables can fit on either side of the barn doors as you walk in, making this a GREAT spot to put your food so it’s tucked away from the main gathering space! I did this on purpose in my design 😉. With plenty of room to move around for a buffet style serving area many take advantage of having everything tucked away in there so when you’re done, you can shut the barn doors and keep the food tucked away. 😃 We also have a full size refrigerator for you to put your cold items in and keep your ice in. The 5 hot chaffing dishes are also ours for you to use! 🎉

6 Months ago today we opened our doors. 🤍
It’s been the most emotional & exciting business venture of our lives. 🤍🤍 Seeing a 10 year dream to become a venue owner come to life is something I personally will never be able to put into words. 🥹 38 Beautiful events have been hosted in our space thus far and we just couldn’t be more grateful to every single one of you who chose us. 💛 We’re quite literally just getting started and look forward to what the future holds. Thank you to EVERYONE for supporting our small business this last 6 months! Without your love, support, bookings, sharing, referrals, and recommendations we’d not be where we are today. 🥹 From the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful. 🙏🏼
