We had such a great time at our 1st Autumn Show, great turnout and a rowdy crowd!
Afterwards we hosted a group for Axe Throwing Lessons from the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Conservation Biology from UMO! Maybe you need Team Building with your peeps, it’s a BLAST! 🪓🎯

Could not have been a better day, until I received this wonderful review!

It is so very sweet, yet bitter to put this summer season to rest… because we had SUCH A STELLAR SUMMER!

I know I’ve said it a few times, but this crew was amazing, each talented in every event, worked so well interacting with the public… and we had so much fun together as a Team! Thank you Dylan, Johnny, Rachel, Lucas, Tommy, Ben, Frank, Jeannie, Grace, Mary and Relli for making this SO WONDEROUS!

And to our guests… you made us feel so great every night! Seeing so many old friends, meeting new friends and hearing the stories about people’s multigenerational visits to the show make me feel so good! THANK YOU!

We start Autumn Shows back up on Sept 14-15, weekends at 4:00P through Columbus Day weekend!

AND NEXT YEAR IS MY 30th AND I COULD NOT BE MORE PROUD FOR THIS MILESTONE! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

AND THE WINNER IS…. EVERYONE WHO COMPETED AND ATTENDED!!!

We had a wonderful competition, finished in 2:30 hours, lots of axe-tion and everyone won at least one event… and Frank won a few more!

What a fun morning we had… I want to thank all of the athletes, the timers/judges and all who came to watch!

What an amazing and inspiring group of young athletes, it’s going to be really fun following them in upcoming competitions!

Only 2 more regular summer season shows… tonight and Sunday night at 7:00!
Then it’s off to college for the majority and we’ll regroup and start weekend shows on 9/14-15 through 10/12-13 Saturday and Sunday at 4:00P!

GREETINGS FROM TRENTON, MAINE!

It's Tina here... wondering where exactly did summer go? They say the older you get the faster it goes, but the young ones are asking the same question... it just went by so insanely fast!😭

But here we are... after tonight, there are only 3 more nights of the 'Summer Season' before we start up in September for our Autumn Season on weekends only at 4:00P through Columbus Day weekend!

BUT WE ARE DOING SOMETHING WE'VE NEVER DONE BEFORE, WE ARE HOSTING AN IN-HOUSE COMPETITION ON SATURDAY AND WE ARE INVITING YOU ALL!!!

Here are the details: Starting at 9:00A on Saturday, 8/24, all 6 of our athletes are going head-to-head against each other in a legit competition in 8 events! We'll include Underhand & Standing Chops, Axe Throwing, One Person Sawing, Obstacle Pole Run, Chainsaw Race, Disk Stack and Speed Climbing!

We will be ready to roll at 9:00 and we anticipate it being over between 11:00-12:00 and it is FREE TO WATCH! We will have a donation bucket and all money will go to the athletes! You can stop any time, stay for one event or the whole thing!

Please stop over and watch this event and cheer on these young athletes before they go back to school and on to their collegiate chopping careers at Finger Lakes Community College FLCC Logging Sports Team -Woodsmen Team- and University of Maine UMaine Woodsmen Team!

We have an AMAZING TEAM, it has been an AMAZING SUMMER, I am SO PROUD of these young people and can't wait to watch them flourish in their upcoming endeavors!!!

Enjoy this video clip of my friend Samantha Graves competing in last years Stihl Timbersports Series held in Milwaukee... and I was there to watch and witness as she broke the Standing Block World Record! This is a memory I will cherish forever and I shared it with her husband Brandon and her parents!

I am proud to sponsor her and help a little on her journey. Women's events have grown so much over the past 20-30 years, I take great delight in seeing its growth and watching these gals get the credit and appreciation that they deserve!

We've had a great week at The Lumberjack Show and wanted to share a few pics from the last 2 days! I love it when kids enjoy our Happy Kamp Chairs, I love my Paul Bunyan and Lobster on the dash of my work truck and we had a spectacular double rainbow the other night!🌈🌈

We are running Shows every evening at 7:00PM Rain or shine... except for the 4th of July, I give the whole team the night off. We will be at the Bar Harbor 4th of July parade with our Jacks and Jills and we really look forward to that every year!

In the coming days, I want to introduce you to our staff and let you know a bit about them and how they got involved in our sport!

First up... meet Dylan! Dylan is an Ellsworth, Maine native. He graduated from Ellsworth High, furthered his education at Husson University in Bangor and currently works full-time at The Jackson Laboratory.

Dylan started here as a student in Log Rolling School over 15 years ago! He would fill in as a Log Roller now & again and when he older, he joined the team and he is an IronJack now... chops, saws, rolls and climbs!

He took last year off and we are SO HAPPY that he is back to join us, we've had so much fun over the years! Yo-Ho!

Greetings from Trenton!

We’ve had a busy week getting things ready to open this weekend and I simpky haven’t had time to post about it… but we had FANTASTIC shows on Saturday and Sunday, thank you to all who came out.. WOW… WHAT A BLAST WE HAD!

Thanks to my crew, we’ve got 2 returning and 5 new collegiate athletes from Maine, NH and NY, I can’t wait for you to meet them all! I’ll be posting about them in the coming weeks!

Also, the calls are coming in and we’ve decided to add Shows this coming weekend Saturday June 1 & Sunday June 2, both Shows at 7:00.

AND also, we are opening privately booked Shows to the public on June Monday June 3, Thursday June 6 and Saturday June 8th too. All Shows at 7:00!

I also want to acknowledge Memorial Day weekend by sharing some pics of my team volunteering with others to put up the American Flags in our wonderful community. We have over 200 flags welcoming you to town!

We had another amazing group of gals for our 1st Chainsaw Safety for Women Course yesterday!

Michelle and I have been teaching this class for over 10 years, we started with one class a year and are up to FOUR a year!

It’s so cool to see their confidence grow!

It is called The Pine Tree Camp Egg Ride and Poker Run, where I get to ride a snowmobile with RAW EGGS in my shirt, sounds fun, right?

I, along with a whole bunch of groovy people... reality stars, media stars, local heroes and other wonderful Mainers, who are volunteering their time to help to raise funds for kids to go The Pine Tree Camp.

Merry Christmas from Maine!🎅🤶

After years & years of pruning this tree out in front of the Show, Lumberjack Johnny and I figured out how to get lights on it for Christmas… actually 2000 of them! I was ground, he was on the ladder and we went around and around and around and around and around and VOILA!🎄🪓❤️🪓🎄

Last weekend I went to Wisconsin to celebrate Christmas with my family and now I get to enjoy time with dear friends in Maine. 🧀🦞

After a very stormy week in Maine, I feel so grateful for shelter, warmth, nice things to eat… and power to light this tree! And I wish the same for you.

I’ve received messages from friends around the world asking ‘What is going on up there?’ ‘Are you all ok?’

So I thought I’d post a quick message… this beautiful state and it’s people suffered a devastating loss yesterday. Everyone on our team is ok.

The Lewiston community and Maine will need our support for some time to come…

I know loss, but not this kind… I’m so very deeply sorry for all… 💔💔💔

1st SPECIAL EVENT: These pics are about our 1st never-been-done-here-before event - A Strongman/Strongwoman event to be held this Saturday in the morning!

It all started last year when a few of my Jacks met a guy named Bash at the local gym… they invited him to The Show… we got to talking about Strongman events… and VOILÀ, we decided to host one!

Bashing Timber (a collaboration of our names) is going to be a Logging Sports themed Strongman/Strongwoman contest with 5 events, a few we dreamed up to keep with our Maine Logging theme!

It starts at 10:00am, admission is only $5.00 and you can come for one event or all!

I’ve never been to a Strongperson event, let alone hosted one… but I worked/did a show with Magnús ver Magnússon and The World’s Strongest Men for 10 days at the Sydney Royal Easter Show about 20 years ago, does that qualify me? 🥴🤪😂🤣💪🏻🪓💃🕺🏻

Due to impending path of Tropical Storm Lee, we are canceling our Show on Saturday.

And as I say at work all of the time “A clean work space, is a safe workspace..” sooo, we’ll see how we look the next morning before we decide about Sunday’s performance.

Only the 3rd time in 28 years 🌬 🌊 🌪 😩 💨 🌧

We are starting back up doing Shows today at 4:00! It’s always nice to take a quick break, but we’re ready to get back at it.. Chop Chop!

Several of us spent this past weekend competing at The Macedon Lumberjack Festival in NY ❤️🪓💪🏻

And after a long break from chopping at a competition, I actually joined (was deeply coerced 😜) the team and competed as well! It was cool to chop, saw and throw axes in a competition setting… and I won a wee bit of money!

Thanks to the NY State Lumberjack Association for hosting and to my peeps for helping me chop and saw in my 60’s! Y❤️-H❤️!
