Summertime begins June 20!! I'm officially "Out of the Office" until August 15th! THANK you friends for your referrals, please know I'll be back soon to capture your marketing needs, special moments/ life events, and that I'm only gone for a short time. I appreciate you and can refer you to some excellent photographers if needed.

Summer is typically TOO HOT and rainy, and I get bored doing studio only work. So....I take summertime to have some fun, vacation, travel, and get back to photography that inspires me!

This Milkyway Nightscape photo was captured at midnight in Zion National Park - one of the Crown Jewels of the US National Park System. If you look closely... you can see the Milkyway just peeking over the mountain. Zion's night skies attract visitors from around the world. In fact, in my group were two people from India! On this week I had perfect timing.... the night sky in Utah was at its peek of darkness with the new moon on the same side of the earth as the sun, making the moon invisible at night. Zion National Park is known for being an International Dark Sky location, and June is exemplary for no atmospheric conditions (rain, fog), which makes for ideal star photography. It was meant to be that I was there!

SANTE FE HIGH'S CARTER DAVIS, son of Chis and Christie Davis! Carter just found out he is the 2024 Valedictorian of his class! He is graduating with a Capstone Diploma, is an AP Scholar with Distinction, and achieved certifications in many Career Tech Programs to include: Biotechnician Assistant, Agriculture Biotechnology Specialist, and Entrepreneurship/ Small Business and Project Management Certifications while taking 18 AP Courses. For fun, Carter also plays tennis, and has participated in Cross Country and Track in High School. Carter will be attending the University of Florida this fall! Please congratulate this hard working senior! He may be your next Neurologist or Anesthesiologist on day! :)
