Got a challenge for you all.

It's a simple request. Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families was destroyed by Helene. The children there are all displaced and already have so much to overcome. The children there love Jerky and according to sources there helping them with their stock would be beneficial for them.

So we Slayton's Corner Clinic and Infusion PLLC and Brazil General Store & Cafe are having a jerky drive. Drop off unopened not expired jerky beef sticks etc at 1104 W Van Hook in Milan. We will be shipping them a week from Friday. Please consider helping with this simple request to help these kids.

Although we currently do not have an exact date for the opening of the cafe, we will be opening as an event venue very soon.

Want to have your family gatherings, baby or wedding showers, birthday or retirement parties at an old country store. We have just the place.

The store was built in the 1890s. It was first owned by John P Wade and called Wade's Grocery from 1900 to 1956 or there about. Then we're told it was known as Buckingham Grocery or just "Jiggers". We have renovated while preserving the history of this beautiful building. We are excited to share it with you soon. We hope to hear more of the history of this building and of your history with this building.

There will be a gift shop inside, as well as the Cafe opening soon! We hope for great success in this building and the support of the Brazil community.

If you have dates in mind and would like to rent the building for your event, you can do that by a private message to us at any time and we will get you on the books. We are excited to share this piece of history with you!!
