** Edible Education Experience Cooking Classes, Orlando **
Now offering twice a month public homeschool classes.
These are GREAT classes! We have been taking them for 4 years! They are seed-to-table concept and teach about the vegetables, spices, herbs in the garden, cooking the meal, the history of the meal and ingredients, etc. They are well-rounded, awesome classes teaching history, culture, and cooking techniques!

1. The class will be taking from 10:30am-1pm on September 25th and is for youth ages 12-17. In this class we will explore America's surge in food culture with the introduction of victory gardens during World War Two. Then follow post war America as it embraces new cultures and cuisines from countries like France, Japan, China, and many more.

Real education is teaching your child from ALL the views, not just your view, and allowing them to think critically about the subject matter.
When you are too concerned with your own personal agenda or beliefs, you can fail to truly educate.

We have stayed a year ahead since we started homeschooling. Because of that, she was in 8/9th year this year, so she will, in theory, do 5 years of high school, including college courses,, as we have no intention of graduating her early. In Florida, as a homeschooler, you are definitely better off staying in high school and doing FREE dual enrollment as long as allowed.

WORLD RELIGIONS SERIES: ISLAM
What an amazing experience today learning about Islam! Danielle, Shakiel, Rose, and staff were so welcoming to our students and so very knowledgeable! They taught us the tenants of Islam, compared it to other religions, let us hear some of the Quran being recited, and allowed us time for a great Q&A session! Their youth group kids made display boards to teach others about their faith. They were really great and fun to read. They even had an array of snacks and refreshments to share with us and sent us home with a giftbag! They really went way above and beyond, and we are so very grateful for their time, expertise, and hospitality! I think we all learned some new things today!

What an awesome learning experience! We had the best teachers! So thorough! (As with all of our dissections at TBW, these are fresh iguanas and no chemicals or formaldehyde was used to preserve them.) We are so lucky to work with TBW on many science labs and classes - They are such an amazing organization!

Well, due to the cold front, the water temp is lower than we hoped, therefore we are canceling the snorkeling trip for tomorrow.
NOTE: This event has been prepaid a couple weeks ago, so there won't be refunds, but it will be rescheduled for April, May. We will have a date in the next few days. Again, if you can't make it, we can sell your spot, but they do not refund. This is CMA policy.
