Lions from 5 Clubs in Zone B with help from Chairman Dave Rockwell got together on Wednesday, August, 14 to work at a CHOP Out Hunger "Pop Up Pantry" that was held at the Pavillion in the Lower Meadow at Alparon Community Park / Troy Fairgrounds.
Members from the Lions Clubs with the assistance of a few members from the Troy Fair Board of Directors helped unload truckloads of food and prepare all of that to put in boxes then placed in the cars and trucks of nearly 100 residents of the area.
Clubs participating included Big Pond, Sylvania, Troy, Wells-Jackson, and South Creek. Zone Chairman Dave says he is planning other projects for the clubs to work together on.

A Big Thank You to the Kingsley Family!

The Kingsley family of Columbia Cross Roads recently donated a new UTV to Alparon Park—home of the Troy Fair. The UTV will be used year-round by the maintenance staff of the park grounds.
“The community of Troy is fortunate to have Alparon Park” says Roger Kingsley. “Our recent donation is a continuation of our family’s support of the Park and the Fair.”
Ronnie and Sandy Kingsley, and Roger and Barb Kingsley are co-owners of Springcroft Farm in Springfield Township.

We would like to take this time to thank every single person who has contributed to the success of the 148th Troy Fair. It has truly been a team effort, with each person holding a piece of puzzle.
The Troy Fair absolutely would not be the same without the amazing support from the following groups: Bradford County Department of Public Safety and all of the entities that make that up, Bradford County Open Youth Livestock Expo with their excellent volunteers and committee members, all of our Fair Departments and their Department Heads, those who entered items into our Fair Departments, our amazing maintenance team, trash crew and cleaning crew, the fantastic men and women that made up our security team, all of our vendors for their endless hours and dedication to their craft, our gate workers and parking lot attendants, Bradford County Sanitation, Boggs Hi-Tech Solutions for their on-site IT assistance, Molly Garrison-Best for her fantastic photography throughout the week, the fairs awesome accounting office, the individuals that man the Ticket Booth throughout the week, and everyone who has shared our posts and events. We are grateful for our sponsors, whose contributions go a long ways in supporting the fair. We are especially thankful for our Fair Board and our Fair Office Staff whose endless hours and year round dedication make the fair what is. Lastly thank you to every single person who attended the 148th Troy Fair, it truly would not be the fair without your support.
The continued support is why we strive to bring returning fan favorites and new and exciting things to the fair each and every year.
Truly from the bottom of our hearts we thank each and every last one of you.
We can not wait to see you back here for the 149th Troy Fair, which will run from the July 21st to July 26th.
