Our custom plated entrées, hors d’oeuvres, and hand made desserts prepared by Michael’s Catering, elegantly displayed make for an appetizing attraction for you and your guests. On this day 48 years ago is when it all began.

Michael Cocca, the godfather of cratering found his true love and passion of culinary arts . When he was a young lad he would cook with his grandmother learning much of what he knows today.

In 1976 Michael bought Miss. Mary’s diner from his aunt in the small village of Green Island NY. Which is where he founded Michael’s Catering & Deli. Michael and his crew catered all over the capital region becoming a stable name in the catering community. In 1993 he then opened the Franklin Plaza Ballroom in Troy NY. Later Michael and his business partner, Michael Fusco expanded and created Franklin hospitality Group. Which started with opening our second location the Franklin Square & suites/Best Western Hotel(2001). A few years later opening our third establishment the Franklin Terrace Ballroom (2005).

Here at Franklin Hospitality Group we aim to provide not only great food but fine hospitality.

We are so thankful to all of our clients-returning, new and future. We also couldn’t do what we do without our staff and Friendors. One thing we thrive on is word of mouth and we are beyond greatful.

Thank you all for your support throughout the past 48 years. We look forward many more.
