I’m heidi. owner + creative here at takk house. if we’ve never met - I hope we do! I have been working in the wedding industry for nearly 20 years as a photographer, coordinator, designer and overall love cheerleader. is almost 10 years old and it’s crazy how we are still a hidden gem! What we’ve been doing in the wedding market all this time is truly one of a kind. I am a leader not a follower so our take on weddings is pioneering new ideas and diving right in. I find inspiration in everything. Esthetics and experience is always number one. We will never be a wedding factory which I guess means we won’t get the big recognition but I like it that way. I like treating all of our couples like friends. I like knowing your name. Your dogs name. You’re favorite restaurant. What you’re into. I don’t want you all to blur together into one big continuous three day weekend. I am a curator of good times and it’s impossible to do that when quantity comes before quality. We are accepting of all and a safe space because love is love and should be celebrated. I listen. I remember. I care.

When I’m not clocked in as a professional party thrower I am usually finding peace in the quiet spaces in life. I tend to learn more towards being introverted despite my energetic job title. I love nature, flowers and animals. I feel most connected and at ease when they are around. I am super into music and also love writing. I co-own catering with some buds who live a plant based lifestyle like myself. I also run and operate a shuffleboard bar located in the basement of . I am a flower gardener who grew the operation a bit due to the lack of quality flowers through wholesalers. I own a small boutique flower farm in Saratoga county where I specialize in dahlias. I have 87 different varieties. 🌸 if that’s not enough to make your head spin I have plenty more stories to tell ya! What’s going on with you? ♡
