property was originally owned by the railroad in 1800's and was purchased by a private family in 1918. The then owner started to built a small hunting lodge for him and his friends for a summer retreat and get away. The lodge was completed in 1924 on the edge of Deer Lake, which is a 9 acre glacier carved natural lake with native brook trout sounded entirely by the private 129 acres. The owner continued to build other buildings and ended up with 18 buildings and 18,000 Sqf. reception hall for events and corporate retreats, a 2,000 Sqf. commercial kitchen. 6 cabins that sleep up to 20 comfortably, with outdoor restroom/showers. The property lends itself to the most accessible event location in the entire Lake Tahoe area.
