Presentations, panels and workshops engaged and inspired.. it was quite the day!!

Celebrate the Literary Arts
Oct 11 and 12 Tahoe Literary Festival.

An evening with Obi Kaufmann
Award winning author and naturalist Obi Kaufmann headlines the Tahoe Literary Festival at Granlibakken Tahoe Oct. 12. at 5:30 p.m. in Tahoe City. Kaufmann's presentation is part of his book tour for his latest book, “The State of Fire: Why California Burns.” Described as a modern-day John Muir, Kaufmann is an avid backpacker, podcaster and artist, his passion and love of California is illuminated through his writing and art. His books are a visual and written journey of California.
A book signing will follow the talk. Tickets are $15.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and a cash bar will be available.

Start the morning at the Tahoe Art House,
Morning Keynote with Jared and Julia Drake of followed by a panel with Mayumi Peacock of Mike Rogge of and Katherine Hill of the who will discuss the importance of independent publishing to the fabric of our community.

The day will include workshops panels and presentations by local authors to participate in.

Author, naturalist and artist Kaufmann headlines the evening. An enlightening and entertaining speaker he will discuss his new book:The State of Fire-Why California Burns. Tickets are available for the evening only. $15

Calling all authors, writers, readers, and lovers of the arts for the first Tahoe Literary Festival Oct. 11-12 in Tahoe City.

As a writer and someone passionate about the literary arts, I am so excited to spearhead the Tahoe Literary Festival with Katherine Hill. Publisher of TTahoe Guide
This community event is for anyone who loves the written words and the arts.

We are currently in the planning stages. The Tahoe Literary Festival will host workshops, panels, readings, a singer-songwriter showcase, and an evening keynote speaker.
We will also host a writing contest.

It’s all unfolding!!

We have some amazing sponsors on board so far, and more are to come. We’re also planning to announce some fun fundraising events.
