I want to take a moment to send a heartfelt thank you to all involved who worked, played, and listened to Summer Jam Anniversary 2024. It was such a great weekend and chill vibe - I wish I could hang out in that environment every day. It was awesome that we were able to do the whole thing outside on the outdoor stage - it's so rare that the weather is perfect for the entire event!

Much appreciation to 90PROOF who kicked off our awesome event with a fun 70s costume party on Friday night- congrats to the winners!! We'll see you at Cedarwood soon.

Special thanks to all of my staff who worked tirelessly to prepare and deliver this amazing weekend. Many thanks to our favorite sound man, Richie Roccisano, who was there from the beginning until the bitter end. And In particular, Montgomery Brockway who dreamed this whole event up and made it a reality.

Check out some awesome bands playing tribute to Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, and the Band, and they’ll prob play some of their own stuff too bc they’re awesome. See you at Cedarwood!

We’ve heard some comments that our ticket prices for the weekend are a bit low. I didn’t really believe them until I was hanging up Summer Jam original posters for decoration. The price was literally $10 for concert, parking, and camping. Our price does not include camping and if you come for two days it’s $15 but it’s pretty DARN close!!!

Kids are free. Ask Monty about camping if you want to camp.

See you all this weekend! It’s going to be awesome.

Are we dog-friendly?

Someone reached out on our website and asked if we are dog friendly and when I responded the email address didn't work! SO, please tell your friend that we do have a kitchen, so pets are not allowed inside, but we cannot (and would not) ever ever ever refuse service animals so if that is the case the dog is absolutely welcome. Outside, all pets are allowed.

Tonight, 90Proof will be playing inside. Tomorrow and Sunday the bands are expecting to play outdoors...we have some picnic tables, but feel free to bring a chair / blanket that you're comfortable with.

Ahead of this epic Summer Jam Anniversary weekend, I want to give a huge shout-out to our bar manager Montgomery Brockway who has put every inch of this event together. It was his idea, his brainchild, his passion, his muscle. It didn't happen overnight either - he's been building up to this for months.

Monty started booking bands at Cedarwood about 8 months ago...with a lot of "trust me" and "you'll love this band". He built up tons of trust and then pitched me this festival. I've had the opportunity to see almost all of the bands playing this weekend, and I'm proud to say I'm a SUPERFAN. (I've also heard more Grateful Dead in the past 8 months than my whole life put together).

The event is going to be awesome. If you see Monty this weekend - and you WILL - he'll be there the whole time - congratulate him on a job well done. And if there are any glitches...have some grace. The original Summer Jam didn't go perfectly either...

Summer Jam lineup!! Kicking off with 90 Proof from 7-10pm. 70s theme - best 70s themed costume wins Cedarwood drink tickets and an overnight stay at New Park! Saturday we have yoga with Danielle, then KarleeCrow Music 🧚‍♀️🎶 (just saw her at Grassroots - so cool...) Richman and the Poorboys at 4pm, Stereopticon at 6pm, and Diggin Roots Band at 8pm. We can't wait to celebrate this historic event right here in Trumansburg at Cedarwood. The Summer Jam at Watkins Glen drew an estimated 600,000 rock fans — one of the largest gatherings of people in U.S. history (Woodstock's attendance in 1969 was over 400,000).

We have an awesome food menu - burgers and paninis, including our vegetarian "Love" sandwich (mozzerella, tomato, and pesto) and a drink menu designed by our own Montgomery Brockway. We are kid-friendly with fun kid-tail drinks for kids. Outdoors we have co****le and we are pet-friendly outside.

What a week, huh? So tomorrow we have Tompkins Chamber / Trumansburg Chamber Business After Hours from 4:30-6:30pm, and all chamber members are invited (no cost to join Tburg's chamber, and there's a discount to attend this event). THEN we have comedy night - you can start signing up at 7pm and then we'll start comedy around 8pm. It's going to be a great evening!!

Thank you to Jonas And Friends 4th of July Party for putting on a great show last night!! much appreciation to local businesses that donated to the cause.
