So excited to host the guys from Michigan! They brought supplies and their horses to help aid in SAR and reach those who would be accessible otherwise!

If there are SAR/1st responders/medical aid in need please contact us. We have had a SAR team reach out to us about SAR dogs in desperate need to be hosed down after days in muck, mud, and bug infested areas. We now have water in the barn and a place where they can have some reprieve.

We have 4 rentals here at Alpine South with stalls and pastures for displaced horses. We have registered with Fleet of Angels as well. If you know someone who needs someplace to board their horses, please let us know!!

We are devastated for those who have been directly impacted by Helene; some losing everything in the flood. We are also heartbroken for the weddings, events, and life celebration that have been displaced as a result. We cannot imagine the stress and frustrations brides must be experiencing during this special time of their lives. In an effort to help those whose venues have been displaced or are no longer operating, we want to offer our space and lodging at a heavily discounted price. We are in Tryon, NC, the beautiful foothills of NC. Our incredible town has rallied and is back open, and as of today, we are fully operating. We have a barn, a rolling meadow, a forest, a creek, and 4 short term rentals onsite. Utilize our 26 acres to bring your wedding dreams back to life. Please know we will help in anyway we can! Welcome to our largest lodging, the Chalet!

The Chalet is a Swiss-styled home with a game room, 5 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths, a  large kitchen, and is capable of sleeping 12 people.  You’ll find decks off of every bedroom, with the master having a beautiful view of the sunset and riding arena. The hot tub is also privately set on the back deck.

This lodging is perfect for a wedding party or family members coming in town for your wedding! It has a large kitchen and plenty of space for getting ready or a post-wedding brunch.

The Alpine Retreat is our newest accommodation on-site, and it’s almost complete!

Our favorite things about this lodging are:
- An enormous back deck, big enough to host an intimate wedding ceremony or party

- Being high in the trees, surrounded by nature and woods

- The arched door 😍 It’s tall, modern and a perfect for hanging a wedding dress on

- A spiral staircase leading up to the loft bed

- Being able to hear the creek and see the large Beechwood tree from the deck!

One of the best things about having your wedding at Alpine South is the ability to choose your ceremony location! While we have our four favorites, there are countless spaces you could choose to hold your intimate wedding.

The Creek flows behind our beautiful 50-year-old Beechwood tree, and with string lights and an arched bridge over the water, it’s a nature lover’s dream spot for a ceremony.

The Paddock is a grassy area behind the barn with green trees surrounding three sides, making it feel private and serene.

The Alpine Retreat is almost complete! When your guests walk through the large arched door to the deck, their eyes will be drawn upwards into the trees that encompass the entire field of vision. You’ll get married in the foliage of the woods, with the sounds of the creek running below.

The horse barn is our covered ceremony space, offering you peace of mind that weather won’t get in the way of your wedding day!

When you book Alpine South for your wedding, we give you full reign to choose where to host each event. Your rehearsal dinner, bridal brunch, ceremony and reception could all be in a different place on the property, while still being close and convenient!

We were SO thrilled to have our first "wedding" at Alpine South yesterday! Hannah Lockaby Photo was incredible at capturing our property and how we envision weddings and gatherings here. Special thanks to everyone who came out to support us and spread the word, and thanks to the rain, too! Can't wait to have more couples begin their marriage at Alpine South.
