2025 was a year of resilience for JDDU. Behind the scenes, our families navigated heavy personal seasons while continuing to show up for every client with care, professionalism, and intention. There were long drives between doctor appointments and events, late nights editing, and countless moments where giving up would have been easier but the work mattered too much to walk away from.

This year reminded us that JDDU is more than a photography and video company. It is a space for people to feel seen, celebrated, and understood. From weddings and family milestones to community events and school partnerships, every story entrusted to us reinforced why we started to document life honestly, especially when it isn’t perfect.

As we step into 2026, we do so with gratitude for every client who trusted us, every referral shared, and every moment we were invited into. We are choosing to build slower, stronger, and with more heart than ever before. Thank you for being part of our story.

We can’t wait to keep creating with you.

Happy Thanksgiving from us!
This year has been full. Full of growth, full of connection, and full of change. Alongside the personal ups and downs, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people through my work. Clients who trusted me to capture their memories, families who welcomed me into their most important moments, and a photographer community that continues to inspire, support, and push me to grow. In a year where I’ve had to let go of certain relationships and navigate loss in different forms, the connections I’ve built through this craft have meant more than most people know.

Photography has given me not only a purpose, but people. The colleagues, artists, business owners, moms, dads, seniors, newlyweds, and so many others who allowed me to step into pieces of their lives. To everyone I have worked with, collaborated with, or shared space with this year: thank you. Thank you for believing in me, for choosing me, and for reminding me that community matters. Your encouragement, your referrals, your kind words, and your presence have been a big part of what carried me through this season.

I’m grateful for every session, every event, every late-night edit, every conversation, every shared creative spark. This year wasn’t always easy, but it was meaningful because of the people I met along the way. I’m looking forward to what’s ahead, and I’m thankful I get to continue this journey with so many of you beside me.

On the day of this event, I received the news that my father was stopping all medical treatments. Less than 24 hours later, he passed away.

To Yvonne & Jose:
May your marriage be filled with decades of love, partnership, and resilience. My parents shared over 50 years together, and I wish you both the same long-lasting bond, joy, and strength as you build your life side by side.

Thank you both for trusting me with your day. Your love was a light during a very difficult moment in my life, and I am truly honored to have captured it.
