I am beyond thankful and deeply grateful to not only attend but to be part of the All Souls Procession media team again.
For me, it’s never been just about taking photos. It’s about connection. It’s about being present in the moment with others as they share pieces of their hearts, their memories, their grief, and their love. It’s about giving space for people to tell their stories, even the ones that bring you to tears, and helping carry the weight of those emotions, if only for a moment.
We all know what loss feels like. The ache, the anger, the heaviness that lingers when someone we love is gone. This event creates a sacred space for healing. It allows people to honor and remember those who have passed, while walking together through a river of shared emotion, art, and expression.
Each year carries its own theme, yet the heart of the event always stays rooted in Día de los Mu***os traditions honoring ancestors, celebrating life, and embracing remembrance with beauty and reverence.
The All Souls Procession is a true reflection of community. A melting pot of beliefs, cultures, and traditions. It’s where humanity shines in its purest form: through love, loss, compassion, and creativity.
Being part of it is an honor that words can hardly describe. 🌹🕯️💀
