We are cooking this weekend and want to cook for you! We will have smoked brisket, baby back ribs, our famous mac & cheese, and award winning corn salad. Everything is available as a plate, or a la carte.

Brisket plate: $20
1/2 pound of brisket and 2 sides

Rib plate: $20
1/2 rack of ribs and 2 sides

Combo plate: $20
1/4 pound of brisket and 1/4.rack of ribs with 2 sides

OR

Brisket:
$16 for 1/2 pound
$22 per pound

Ribs:
$14 for 1/2 rack
$20 for full rack

Mac & cheese:
$15 per pound
$40 for 9x13 pan

Hey! We've been silent for awhile, but life had us all over the place!

We are getting back to cooking and right now we have four 1 pound pans of BO-D-Q's famous Mac-n-cheese for pick up! They are ready to bake! 😋😋
$15 each, or 2 for $25

Going to be cooking for our own wedding in November! Did a trial run of chicken picatta, the bride's pick, and it turned out delicious! We'll be freezing it and trying it in a couple weeks to see if it's still just as good!
Our second dish, the groom's favorite, will be ziti. We'll share that one later!

Our hope is to be cooking a lot more this year and we'll be sure to share it with you all!

BO-D-Q fans! Thanksgiving is right around the corner... Why go through the time of preparing and cooking your own turkey when you can have us prepare and smoke a deliciously juicy turkey for you?!

We have a limited number of turkeys that will be ready Thanksgiving morning at 10am for pickup!

We had an eventful weekend. We made enough food for 200 people! 😳🤯
The bride and groom requested tacos so we smoked almost 100 pounds of beef shoulder for shredded beef and grilled 40 pounds of chicken thighs!
For sides/appetizers: Homemade beans, bacon burnt ends, jalapeno poppers(stuffed with shrimp & cream cheese), and though it didn't go with tacos, Bode's famous smoked Mac & cheese was requested as well!

It was a very long weekend, we learned a lot and took notes on how to make things a little easier next time. It was a great learning experience, first time cooking for such a large group! We're proud to say there were no complaints 🎉

Alright, as promised we have the results of Saturday nights slider cook-off!
We ended up with 4 competitors, all did an amazing job! It was a fun and stressful evening for these guys they all worked hard.

We voted on the best slider and best side.
Winners:

Bode- 1st place for Sliders
(2nd for side)
Chris- 1st place for Side
(2nd for slider)

Sorry Marcus and Gil, while your creations were delicious, they didn't quite make the cut!! You'll have a chance to redeem yourselves at the November chili cook-off!

It's been a long while! A few months ago we had a hot chicken competition, which turned out to be only two of us. That said it was fun, but we didn't think it was really worth posting. Also I'll need to plead the 5th on who won that!...

Fast forward to tomorrow! Slider competition! We will have 5 grill masters competing for the titles of "best slider" and "best side"!

We will be sure to update with the results!

I read a cookbook years ago that said to own your failures as much as your successes. This is something I try to live by every day. When you mess up you need to own it just as much as you would if you had killed. Responsibility is important.
On that note, I failed today. I tried making a version of but it just wasn't there. The good thing is, I know what mistakes I made, and will not repeat them. I will try again, and again after that if I have to.
Failure isn't necessarily a bad thing. OWN THAT S**T!

Christmas is almost here! Are you ready?? I've barely started my shopping... But hey! I've been busy on the smoker. Maybe I'll just cook something up for everyone. What do you think??

For a Christmas party last week we Smoked about 20lbs of tri-tip with Chile espresso rub. It turned out better than we could hope for.
Delicious! Smokey with just a little kick.

We had a lot of food to keep warm so we set up the electric smoker and set it to warm. Worked perfectly!
Also made 3 pans of smoked Mac n cheese as well as 1 pan of kid friendly Mac n cheese. Those were definitely a hit!

New butcher block cutting board with the logo laser engraved! So awesome and I can't wait to get it oiled and ready to use!

Exciting weekend! We started out by prepping a pork belly from a locally sourced pig. That belly is going to become jalapeno bacon!
Next, we smoked a batch of pastrami bacon that we started curing last week. It is going to be incredible! And while the smoker was lit, why not throw on a couple of tri tip roasts? One with lemon pepper and dill, and the other with espresso chile rub. All monitored with our meater block.

It takes a lot of wood to feed this beast! This custom built 200 gallon is awesome for big parties. We can handle any event you may have in mind!
