Solar Culture Gallery is our home and is a pivotal reason we can even offer weekly dances in the first place. ♥️ For those who may not know, Solar Culture has been a crucial cornerstone of the thriving art culture we see here in Tucson. For 35 years, "The Gallery" has been a safe haven for artistic freedom and rich community culture. Last September, Sonoran Ecstatic Dance partnered with Solar Culture to offer our monthly dances, and we quickly outgrew the space. Well, we are back and going to cap capacity this time, so we can make this our longterm home. Although, we'd love to be in a big open space, the reality is venues want a lot of money, and we do not have the equipment or help to do it elsewhere. Solar Culture is fully setup with high-fi sound, and newly installed lighting. We will continue to plan bigger event outside of Solar Culture, but all of our regular events will be held there. The Gallery will only continue to be upgraded into the new era, and we are honored to be concreted in such a lengendary space to continue sharing the medicine of Ecstatic Dance with our beloved community. Our partnership allows your money to equally support Sonoran Ecstatic Dance and Solar Culture - we agreed to give 50% to the venue to help that space thrive. All proceeds from this show goes to support veterans, so come share your dollar and help veterans right here in our community! has a passion for sharing Ecstatic Dance with his community. Having discovered this medicine 6 years ago in San Marcos la Laguna, Guatemala, Doc has devoted the last 6 years of his life to sharing Ecstatic Dance with the global community in Peru, Mexico, and now Tucson, Arizona. Doc is the founder of Sonoran Ecstatic Dance and formerly Ecstatic Valley in Peru, although they love sharing it everywhere they go too! 💃🕺

Doc loves to blend world cultures through music, and take dancers on a powerful transformation along the way. 🌍🎵 Doc has no bounds with music and believes in the ability to use different genres, bpms, rhythms, and frequencies to release and go deeply inward and outward. 🌟
