Ever wonder where the name "Kingan Gardens" came from?
Well, a man named Samuel Latta Kingan!
He lived and practiced law in Arizona from 1894-1943. He also was known for his desert landscape paintings.
In 1917 he was elected as the founding president of the Tucson Art Association!
