MacFestival passes are now on sale! Purchase yours today to gain access to all 5 plays that take place during the MacFestival!

We will kick off the festival with an all-female and non-binary topical telling of the tale, lean and fast-paced. We then will morph into a site-specific journey to the depths of our beloved Historic Y, to present It Is Magic. The festival will include other MacBeth inspired plays, readings, lectures and activities such as macbitches and Peerless. We will wrap up the festival with Five Acts, Five Macs, a mini-festival in itself in which we invite other performing arts companies including Borderlands Theater, Saguaro City Music Theatre, Winding Road Theater Ensemble, and Unscrewed Theater to present their interpretation of an act via their expertise whether puppets, improv, music, physical theater, and more.

Engage your students with a school matinee and enhance their arts literacy!

School matinees are now available for Macbeth!

S&S presents a topical abridged telling of one of Shakespeare’s darkest and most powerful works, in a cutting that is lean and fast-paced. A tale of witchcraft, prophecy, and political ambition, the S&S production will explore the corruption of the trappings of power on the ambitious in a production focused on gender and the systematic forces that bend the individual.

Over the last eight years, The Scoundrel & Scamp has become a pillar of the Tucson Theatre arts community, sharing resources and unifying artistic efforts across organizations.

In spite of our success, it is a constant financial struggle to run a non-profit theater in Arizona, where there is little state funding for the arts. Community giving fills the gap. During this challenging time, we need champions of the arts!
