What an amazing competition! We love Heart of America DanceSport Championships. Everything was spectacular buuuutttt we forgot to take pics on smooth day so here are some pics of our adventures instead. We took our traditional trip to Gates BBQ and we got to go with the Men In Black group to a Royals baseball game. But I'm really here to post our results!

American Smooth was Insane! We actually had semi finals in single dance events which was crazy! For those that don't know this means that there was an incredible number of participants in Smooth and also means it can double the number of times you dance.

Smooth Day results from The Rush! Couldn't find the pics of everyone they are spread.oit between devices but I will be sharing videos as I get them. First of all you guys were AHhhmazing! I had so much fun.

This was only his 2nd competition and he handled all the traffic and the pressure so well

I am so happy that Spring has sprung! Spring is a season of new growth and we are experiencing new growth in our dance community! I am so proud of how our experienced dancers embrace new dancers to help them feel supported in their new journey. Now is a great time to invite that friend who needs a community like ours. Eleanor Roosevelt said, "Do one thing everyday that scares you." Remember that on the other side of fear is fulfillment. It's an exciting week! Two of Scissortail's very own will be competing at The Oklahoma Challenge DanceSport Competition! Good luck to Jane Firth and her instructor Leon Selby and also to Tom Bueno and Deborah DeLaney. Due to the competition there will be no Int/Adv group lesson and no practice dance. The beginner class will still meet and will be learning the Waltz 7:00 Beginner Group $10/person

I hope you are all staying safe and warm. We are cancelling our Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced group lessons and our Practice Dance tonight. If you have private lessons scheduled check with your individual instructors.
