Here's what we are looking for....
• Flexible availability from Thanksgiving through January 6th, and bonus if you’re available on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
• Professionalism
• Impeccable pitch while singing a ca****la
• Ability to learn music on your own, memorization, and ability to learn and quickly
• Charisma/good performance skills
• Good attitude
• Reliable transportation
• Volume (caroling is grunty work and requires a lot of stamina and often in noisy settings. We don’t typically use amplification, so strong dynamics is helpful and ability to do so for a few hours on end is necessary).
• Strong music sensibility
• Exceptional ensemble singing

Well, that was a blast! We can’t wait to do it again next year! Tovar’s Christmas was instantly a success and we were so honored to be a part of it. The whole night was packed full of amazing artists, dancing, families, and so much joy! There was even a proposal on stage! And next year we’ll definitely be on microphones 😘🪩🎙️🎄🎩🎸🤠

And Thursday, the Carolers will be serenading guests at The Tulsa Garden Center! There are still carriage rides available!

Winter is upon us, with or without snow on the ground, and what better way to usher in the Winter Solstice this Thursday than on a carriage ride through the Arboretum in Woodward Park while being serenaded by ! There are only a few spots left for this unforgettable experience in a historic park. ❄️🐴🎄

Sam Briggs, tenor. You may recognize Sam as he is a local super-star. Sam is very active in the arts in Tulsa and has worked with Discoveryland, Tulsa Opera, Theatre Pops/American Theatre Company, Tulsa Project Theatre, and Theatre Tulsa. Additionally, he was the grand prize winner of the 2019 Tulsa Sings! competition. Sam is a Tulsa treasure and we are over the moon to have him in the company!

Caroler spotlight! In The Tulsa Carolers company we have two full quartets (plus one extra soprano - our big bonnet boss lady, Afton) available for hire. We form the quartets depending on who’s available for each gig, so you’ll never know which combination of wonderful carolers you’ll get! We’ve featured five of our singers a few weeks ago, but haven’t introduced you to the rest! Here we have the inimitable, Tulsa star, Sam Briggs on tenor, the ever-so charming and talented Whitney Hollis on soprano, the well-known and loved powerhouse, Lyndon Meyer on bass, and the effervescent, talent-packed, and angelic Kate Hughes on soprano! Each of these singers are highly skilled in their crafts and are pillars of performance excellence in the Tulsa arts community. Afton Mancini (that's her in the middle) reached out after seeing my other posts supporting small businesses. She wrote me: "I have no brick and mortar business but I have just started a professional Christmas caroling company here in Tulsa with the hopes of making it very successful year after year.

Afton calls her business The Tulsa Carolers. As you can see they dress the part, in full Dickensian costume. They have nearly 60 songs in their book and are booking gigs for the season.

I caught up with them Saturday afternoon before performing for the Native Christmas Market at the Jenks Riverwalk. They'll also perform next Saturday (Nov. 25) in Owasso for its Lights On event, and sing at Woodward Park on December 21 for their carriage rides through the park.

Afton wants everyone to know The Tulsa Carolers are available for hire for private parties, public events, businesses, restaurants, etc.
