61st Street from Hwy 75 to Elwood will be closed Monday- Friday 9am to 3pm. Crews are having to work on power lines. Access to the upper parking lot is still open via 71st and Elwood. Work is anticipated to take 2-3 weeks.

🎉Boom! 📣Turkey broke a new record for visitation in 2024 with over a quarter of a MILLION visitors! This number represents a 12% increase from the previous year and a staggering 45% increase from 2019 before trail renovations began. We're excited to see the implementation of the Master Plan bring so many more new users to the park! This all would not be possible without the support of 90+ private donors and the citizens of Tulsa who voted overwhelmingly for the 2020 bond package that allowed for the acquisition of 100s of acres. The majority of trail renovations will be completed in 2025 with the addition of the Sanctuary Trails and the Rock Yard Bike Park. After that, we will focus on more habitat restoration efforts and trail maintenance to keep Turkey wild for the future. Thank you all for a wonderful 2024!

🚧🚧River Spirit will be performing maintenance work on the bank around the mouth of Fred Creek starting January 13th. 🚧🚧 The trail will be closed Monday through Friday but reopened on the weekends. During the weekday, the trail along Riverside Dr. will open as a detour. Work is anticipated to last until the end of March. It should be noted that this stretch of trail is the property of River Spirit and we appreciate them letting the public use it! 🚧🚧
