Are you or a bride you know getting ready to go shopping for the perfect wedding dress?👰‍♀️

Let’s start with the basics... 🤩

1. Your goal should be to start searching for your dress about 1 year before your wedding date - even if you’re not yet engaged. You’ll want to make your purchase around 8-10 months before your wedding! Dress production takes several months, and you’ll also need to plan at least 2 months for alterations.

2. Plan to head to your favorite bridal shops! Most brides will start by shopping local. Our favorite local shops are & & 🤍💫

3. Have your makeup and hair done to where you feel confident trying on dresses. You’ll want to look as close as possible to how you’ll look on wedding day!

4. Try on as many styles of dresses as possible - even the styles you never thought you’d like! Many brides end up deciding on a dress that they originally wouldn’t have picked to try on.

5. Bring your most valuable support system with you!
• Most brides will bring their best friend and their closest family members with them, however, many bridal shops will have a limit as to how many you can bring.

6. If your bridal shop will let you play a personal playlist, build a curated playlist with your favorite bridal songs to create the mood.

7. Don’t feel pressured into buying a dress you try on. At the end of the day, you are the only one who will be wearing it - so make sure it’s the dress YOU personally love.
