Prom season is almost upon us, and Woodward Park has always been one of the beloved locations for capturing those special moments. We absolutely adore watching all the young people dressed to the nines, but please remember that a photography permit is required for any commercial photography or photography which uses professional equipment. Personal cell phone photography is always free!

Day-use permits can easily be purchased on our website for $25 plus a small transaction fee, and the funds help our nonprofit organization buy even more flowers for everyone to enjoy. https://www.tulsagardencenter.org/store/woodward-park-photography-permit Just keep your confirmation email and show it to Park Security when requested.

Additionally, because there are already reservations for private events and festivals in the Park for each Saturday in April and May, parking availability will be extremely limited during the late afternoon and early evening hours on those days. However, if you would like to make a reservation to ensure you will be able to take your photos in your preferred location, please contact our Events Director, Kimberly Butts, at [email protected].

After 2020 and 2021 were such challenging years for weddings, 2022 came back in full force. Last year, many couples were playing catch-up from having to move their wedding dates, and with the wedding boom, we saw couples going all out.
