So much fun painting Flint Corn today at WaterWorks Art Center with our early-stage Alzheimer’s group! We learned that this variety of multi-colored corn was essential to the survival of many peoples in this country! It’s beautiful and a lovely tribute to this season.

Masterpieces were created in the two-session “Still life in Oils” workshop at WaterWorks Art Center! Each student painted thei interpretation of a classic painting with the guidance of professional artist Tom Conrad. Everyone had a great time, learned a lot, and took home a gorgeous oil painting!

Beautiful "stained glass" snowflakes were created using colorful tissue paper and a pretty blue stencil snowflake pattern today at our gathering of individuals with early-stage Alzheimer's Disease and their caregivers! Everyone had a very festive time!

Fall is in the air! Our "Drawing on Memories" art session with early-stage Alzheimer's Disease individuals and their caregivers was such fun today as we painted pumpkins and enjoyed apple cider and butter cookies! Here are a few of our in-progress and completed painted pumpkins!
