Loved getting to tour and photograph the fine work of BKL Engineers/Architects. I’m a little partial, because one of the principles’ behind the work is my talented sister, Jenni Hammock, but seems to be the finest maintenance facility around in my opinion. I’m immensely proud of her and her team.

not a posed photo in sight. mainly because, and i do speak from experience, little bro wasn’t stopping to pose for a photo for anything. but also because i prefer the “these guys just hanging out ” photos anyway.

love this girl. so thankful for the opportunity to take your senior photos. and to watch you grow from a shy,tiny, middle schooler who came and helped me through some long summer days with my very young kids into my beautiful, kind, peach tea date friend. it was cold and so, very, windy. but this beauty queen rocked. it.

i’ve had this post sitting in my drafts just waiting for this little guy’s 1st birthday and then i went and missed it. it was such an honor to get to photograph the birth of my sweet friend traci’s baby boy. words are lost on me to even try to describe how joyful and wonderful it was to be there in the moments you and garrett met your baby son for the first time. you were a rockstar birth giver, g was a perfect birth partner and that surprise baby boy to round out your family of little ladies, man what a precious guy. happy birthday baby boy! just a few days late.

i got to photograph this sweet family’s everyday normal a few weeks back.
it was a joy to spend the day with them, to capture their life and then a second joy to get to relive it while editing them and returning the photos to my client turned friend, casey. and now she will get to relive them over and over whenever she wants.
i bet you know someone who would LOVE receiving this gift. i’ve been able to help a couple of people gift sessions this season and i say why not keep it going! i bet your family and friends would think it’s the best gift you’ve ever given them!

just a few more from my session with the dye family! Sara and Eric, the realness of these photos is the best thing about them. the pretty fall backdrop, gorgeous sunlight, coordinated outfits are all just icing on the cake compared to the way you look at each other and at your kids. your happiness and fun together is so genuine. so admirable. J + O have some pretty wonderful parents, and I have some pretty great friends.

getting to delivery REAL photos that tell a REAL story is my favorite thing. This family let me hang out with them in a few of their favorite places around the town that has played a huge role in their life since their move here a few years back.

dyes, love you guys. love the way you look at each other, and at your kids. so thankful you moved to my town a few years back.
