Guthrie Green opened in September 2012. Located in the heart of the Tulsa's Arts District in Tulsa, OK, this industrial square block was transformed from an old freight yard to an inviting green space. It is a source of health and wellness, ecological awareness, and joyous appreciation of the arts

*Any event no matter how small must apply to host and receive permission from the Guthrie Green staff before an event can be held. This includes walks, marches, and protests. Any event happening in the park without the permission of the team will be asked to leave.

Take a behind-the-scenes at how "Silver Seed" came to life. The art installation is made up of reflective hexagonal pieces that form a disco ball-like dome. This protective exterior symbolizes resilience and defense, reflecting back to the world and creating an intriguing visual barrier that invites curiosity while concealing its precious interior.

Inside the installation, you'll find a stark contrast to its exterior with an original music score by The Makers Out and lighting by Dreamspace Lab. The combination of floral elements, cushions, and soft lighting creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a comforting womb.

"Silver Seed" was created by The Makers Out and Dreamspace Lab with support from the Artists Creative Fund, George Kaiser Family Foundation, and CACHE - Creative Arkansas Community Hub and Exchange. The installation is open daily through November 30, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Guthrie Green.

Gathering Place and Guthrie Green team members proudly walked in the 106th annual Tulsa Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Tulsa, celebrating those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation and its people. We are especially grateful for the veterans who work alongside us every day at the park.
