Whether you want to prepare for a wedding, improve your social dancing, become a competitive dancer, or meet people with common interests, The Dance Studio offers something just right for you. Beginners will find that The Dance Studio offers classes designed to help newbies quickly learn the basics and become comfortable enough to participate in social dancing events like our weekly practice parti

es. If you aren't sure a group lesson is right for you, private lessons are also available. As dancers gain confidence and proficiency in basic steps, there are classes to add new variations that make dancing even more fun. Our schedule is updated monthly so you can select the classes that match your interests. Every Friday there is a practice party at the studio beginning at 7:00. The party includes a newcomer lesson, an intermediate lesson and two full hours to dance. Many people come straight from work and dancers of all levels mingle. You won't find strangers at our party - only dance friends! We are often asked to put pricing on Facebook. It really depends on what you do, which is why we don’t pick just one category. If you take group classes, most are $10. Private lessons are more. We even have pricing for teens that is lower. So please call us to determine what it costs for what you want to do.

We had a fun party last night at the studio. We had a really good Rumba lesson for both newcomers and intermediate dancers. We had newcomers and more experienced dancers alike! Cameron Stevens and Gage Wood are both ballroom dance instructors at The Dance Studio of Tupelo. Gage has been ballroom dancing and competing since 2014 and was one of the professionals at the local Dancing like the stars event. Cameron has been ballroom dancing since 2019. She also acts as Assistant Ballet Mistress and Senior Company Dancer with civic ballet as well as dances with the Doniphan dance project. 💃

We had another “ALL SMILES” dance party last night. It’s really hard to explain the amazing energy and connections we have at the parties. Last night we had a newcomer who had previously told me she was gathering her courage to come to a dance party. After five minutes she said, “Wow, I feel right at home. This is fun!” When she left she promised she would be back again next Friday night.
