Hey y'all! 🙈 it's been a minute, huh? All for good reason, I promise! So let's cut to the chase, shall we?

Sooo, after being a stay at home mom for almost 5 YEARS, your girl decided to get a 9-5 this past summer. 🤯🥳 that's the short version

Now let's get deep...
Being a stay at home mom can be a demanding role, but oh so rewarding at the same time 💖 Trying to figure out the perfect balance between life with a newborn AND my home-based custom cake business was NOT an easy one. At all (whew). BUT ☝️....The bond and connection you grow with your little one(s) is unmatched. The extra time, the sleepless nights, the aching back...body, even the days where I thought I didn't have enough strength to keep on going, made me as mentally and emotionally strong as an ox 💪 I didn't complain, cause literally..."WHAT IS THAT GOING TO FIX?" I always said to myself. I still have to be a mama bc this child NEEDS ME, and I still gotta flick these wrist and whip these cakes. So I strapped my baby into our mommy+baby body harness, and got to whipping! But as my child got older and I saw his independence grow (he's still a mama's boy😵‍💫🤯🤣 don't get it twisted) I soon realized how much I missed consistent human interaction. Because delivering a cake with small talk is one thing, but to dive into authentic and genuine good grown-up conversations (even though I end up always talking about my son 😂🤦🏾‍♀️), is a totally different story. I truly missed that part of life. So, I jumped! 🥲🥲 Best decision I've ever made!!

At the end of the day, the kitchen is my passion bc I've always LOVED to make people smile, from the inside out. I've still been baking cakes and treats, just haven't been posting as much (which is about to change). Because cakes is not a "hustle" to me 🤞🏾 I literally love what I do! I love to see yall happy and smiling when you see your vision coming to life in edible form.

So I would love to wish everyone a HAPPY HOLIDAYS from the bottom of my heart! Thanks for rocking with me, thanks for supporting and trusting me, and thanks for believing in me 🥰🥰 🗣🗣 I LOVE YALL AND I MEAN IT
