Twain Harte Tree Farm is closing.
It is with much sadness that, after 50 years, the Twain Harte
Tree Farm and Gift Shop is closing. The off season work of pruning and/or shearing the trees has become too much of a physical burden to keep up as well as the general maintenance of the entire farm. We have so many wonderful memories of past years and know that Thanksgiving weekend had become a treasured family tradition to visit our beautiful farm to select that special Christmas tree each year. We've always looked forward to briefly catching up with many of our longtime customers and over the years we were blessed with wonderful, friendly employees that we will miss. Hosting our usual family Thanksgiving has always been special knowing that the next day many of our family members would join us for the busy but joyous opening day at the farm. This year will definitely be oddly different for us and we're sure for many of you.
Will the farm be reopened sometime in the future? It doesn't seem realistic at this point but only God knows for sure. Weddings at the farm will still be available. For now, please cherish the best memories we've shared as we remember you fondly.
