Looking forward to welcoming the Heath Owens band to the Twin Falls Tonight Stage this Wednesday (July 24th) 6-9pm at the Downtown Commons in Downtown Twin.
Heath Owens grew up in Kimberly, Idaho in a family of music lovers and was exposed to a variety of musical genres at a young age. His love for music led him to take up the guitar and he’s been playing and singing ever since. He comes from a long line of musicians on both sides of his family, most notably, his great grandfather Country Music Legend Buck Owens (engineer of The Bakersfield Sound). He draws inspiration from a wide range of artists and his music is a reflection of his life experiences and emotions. Heath is constantly experimenting with different chord progressions, blue grass picking styles and melodies. When it comes to songwriting, he believes that the best music comes from the heart and creates an avenue for contentment which draws deep memories and emotions out of each listener.
The band has been together for just 1 year and includes Heath on Lead guitar and vocals. Heath's brother Tennessee Owens on backup vocals, harmonies and rhythm guitar, Chase Mollerup on drums and Mike Bryan on bass.
