The Washington Open DanceSport Competition is a 3-day competition featuring American and International Ballroom Styles organized by Eddie Ares. Join us for this year’s Washington Open DanceSport Competition, an NDCA sanctioned event occurring at the peak of Washington’s glorious springtime experience. This year’s competition features both Pro/Am and Amateur events, as well as Open Professional cat

egories. The Washington Open is a key event of the World Pro-Am DanceSport Series, in which competitors can accumulate points towards a Regional and World ranking, and earn further rewards at the end of the series each year. Washington Open DanceSport Competition is proud to be a New Member of Superstar Dance Series. Whether you’re looking to compete or just experience some fabulous dancing at a great time of year, Washington Open has something for everyone.

Dear Dancers,
We regret to announce that we must cancel the 2021 Washington Open DanceSport Competition. Due to state and local restrictions on occupancy and dining, the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, our event venue for 2021, will not be able to hold our event, even with a smaller version based upon current limitations and anticipating the loosening of the restrictions over the next months. We hope you all will join us next year! Stay safe, stay healthy, and keep dancing!
