When it comes to your table setting, there are several crucial aspects to consider. The choice between renting and purchasing has significant implications.

Purchasing real china or glass plates for your tables can be quite costly, with prices ranging from $2.50 to $10.00 per plate. Buying a large quantity of plates at this cost may not be the most practical option, as you'll unlikely recoup the expenses.
On the other hand, opting for plastic "throw away" plates may seem convenient with minimal cleanup. However, the cost of plastic plates can be comparable to renting real items. Additionally, some plastic plates may not be sturdy enough and could give off a less attractive or cheap impression, depending on the event's formality.
Comparing rental versus purchasing, renting offers an elegant look at a cost-effective price, as low as $1.00 per plate. This option provides an elevated look for your wedding at a comparable or possibly lower cost than purchasing.
