Make sure you come out Monday, July 17th!! Enjoy some delicious fajitas, rice and beans, a corn hole tournament and the La Sombra Chicana band. We will be starting to serve the free chicken fajita feed at 5:30pm and the tournament and band will begin at 6:00pm.

Jason will be back again this year so make sure to stop by and let him entertain you with his artistic caricature sketching skills! He will be drawing from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during the Fair.

This is a great way to raise some cash. The Civic Center provide the games and set them up for you in the air conditioned Auditorium and you keep 100% of the proceeds. The games are open from 4:00pm to 9:00p on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. For a list of games, and we have alot, please contact the Civic Center office.

Fair Books are ready and can be found at the Civic Center office, the Extension office, the Chamber office and the Clerk's office at the Courthouse. The Face Painters and Air Brush Tattoo Artists will be here July 19, 20 & 21 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. They do beautiful work! Come on out and see them.

It's that time of year again! The Grant County Fair is right around the corner. The dates are July 16th - 23rd and the theme is Have A Blast From The Past. We are changing things up a little bit this year so be on the lookout for the Grant County Fair Book! It will be posted here tomorrow and the paper copies will be available Monday!

'Color Me Crazy' Face Painting and Air Brush Tattoos will be in the Walker Auditorium Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, July 21, 22 and 23 from 4:00pm - 9:00p. Stop by and welcome them to Ulysses and get a colorful face painting and/or air brush tattoo!

The Ulysses Stampede Rodeo will be held Saturday, July 17th and Sunday, July 18th starting at 7:30pm. Come on out and help kick off the Fair! Saturday will be a full day with the parade, Pioneer Communications hot dog feed, 1st National Bank kid's pedal tractor pull, the Birdwell Foundations corn hole tournament and the Ulysses Stampede Rodeo rounding off the day.

The Birdwell Foundation will be hosting a corn hole tournament Saturday, July 17th at 3:00pm in the Commercial Building following the kids pedal tractor pull. Fun for everyone in air conditioned comfort. Contact Chapter Director Silas Rosales for entry information.
