Union Star Greenhouse The Union Star School Greenhouse is operated by the Union Star High School Agriculture Students.

The Union Star Agriculture Greenhouse was established in the Winter of 2013. The funds to build and purchase the greenhouse came from a grant received from the State Farm Youth Advisory Board. The greenhouse is ran by the students enrolled in the Greenhouse course. The students are in charge of planting, caring, and managing the greenhouse. All of the funds received from the greenhouse go back into purchasing the plants and materials needed for the following year.

We are all set up and open for the day. This is the final Saturday (5/10) we are open and will be here until 5 p.m.. Come grab something for mom while you out enjoy the nice weather and garage sales in Union Star. Or grab mom and go for a drive for the Petal Crawl Event. Today is the last day for the $1.25 4 pack and $1.75 single vegetables along with with more you buy more you save sale. Come help clear out the greenhouse before the end of school this week! Citrus Splash Refreshers is also on site with their awsome lemonades!

We still have flowers, vegetables, hanging baskets, and planters left. This video was taken at 6:30 on 5/8. We will be open for one final Saturday on the 10th and have a sale on vegetables and a the more you by the more you save discount going on Friday and Saturday. We are open from 3:30 to 5:30 Friday, and 9 to 5 on Saturday. Saturday Citrus Splash Refreshers will be onsite selling lemonades. Stop in and check everything out for yourself.

Lots going on this weekend here is this weekends special for the Union Star Ag Greenhouse. We have teamed up with other Greenhouses in the area to be a part of the 2025 Petal Crawl, good news for you is extended hours Saturday! We were also informed that Citrus Splash Refreshers will be onsite Saturday selling lemonades and other goodies. This weekend is also the Union Star City Wide Garage Sales and the Union Star Alumni Banquet. Come on up to the school and check out all the happenings!

We will be back open for normal business hours May 1st. We officially got our succulents in after closing on Tuesday. We still have plenty of plants and containers left up for grabs. Come on in and check out all the clearance containers and fertilizer. We can be your one stop shop for most of your planting needs (containers, potting soil, flowers, fertilizer). Time to make opening day 2025 official:
Announcing the 2025 Union Star Agriculture Department Greenhouse Spring Plant Sale!!!
We are again offering customers the ability to shop through the use of our Union Star Agriculture Department Greenhouse Website. All you will have to do is get online STARTING April 29th and go to https://my-site-100780-103479.square.site/ where you will choose your plants, select a pickup time, and place your order. Then all that is left is to come to the school greenhouse to pickup your order. If you would prefer you can always come into the greenhouse and shop in-person to purchase your plants that way.
Please keep in mind that there will be days that we will be closing early or closed all together such as April 30th as that is the day of the Area 1 FFA Awards Night and May 12th as it is our Union Star Chapter FFA Awards Night, and Mr. Martin and the FFA Members will need time to get ready for this event. With that being said please watch our page for updates on these closings. We may even post some sales here...…maybe even a special event again where we will be partnering with other business on May 2nd & 3rd. The plans for this event are coming together.
Final thought here....Please keep in mind that the Greenhouse Class grows all these plants, so what we have is what we have and plan to come in early to get your selections. The longer you wait the less we will have in inventory. Also WE WILL be trying to do specials throughout the weeks and WILL NOT BE DOING A CLOSEOUT SALE at the end of the season.
