Happy Summer! I’ve been MIA during this year’s growing season but that doesn’t mean things aren’t blooming. My intentions with Rooted Rebel Flowers have shifted this year. I’m focused on finding joy in the growing process and giving away flower bouquets. I may still have a pop up sale from time to time so watch for those. This beautiful arrangement here is for my mom’s birthday celebration.

First bouquet of the season. Unfortunately there isn’t much to harvest right now but a few random flowers from my perennial garden. I can’t wait for the magnolia to open up. They smell so good!

Needed- Large Mason Jars

For those of you that may not know, I use mason jars for my bouquets. Every jar that I’ve used so far has been donated to me. I’m starting to run low on jars and looking to restock. If you have any of the bigger size, I’m more than happy to take off your hands. Bonus- I’ll give you a discount off your next bouquet!

Seed starting has officially begun. A little late but better than never. I can’t wait for these to germinate, grow and be planted outside for beautiful spring and summer blooms!

Hi Flower Friends! I’m not sure about you all but I am so over this dreary, rainy weather. I need some sunshine in my life. I’m headed to Miami next week and will hopefully bring some good weather back with me.
After that, it will be seed starting time. Stay tuned for a lot more updates including a limited tulip bouquet subscription offer!

Over 1,000 tulip bulbs planted in these two beds. I’m already dreaming of spring! Now to get to the daffodil bulbs.

Here’s my public service announcement for the day. It is not too late to plant your tulip bulbs. I’ve been putting this off for weeks knowing I still had time. Today’s 60 degree weather made me think I should probably get it done. I can’t wait for spring!
