You’ll receive everything needed to make three glass ornaments, adorned with dried blooms from the florists at Lepley & Co. 🌸

Lepley & Co. is looking to hire a creative Floral Event Production Manager to support coordinating, installing, and managing our weddings and special events.

The Event Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating the details of production, design, content, and development by working directly with clients, suppliers, and our floral team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. This position requires superior organization, strong communication skills, as well as the ability to manage resources and budgets effectively and creatively.

This position requires two years of floral design experience, preferably in events and/or weddings. In addition, your portfolio or photos of fresh floral designs must be shared for review prior to an interview. We look forward to seeing your work!

Compensation:
In order to provide fair and competitive compensation for this position, pay will consist of a percentage of contract event sales in addition to an hourly rate. This would begin as a part-time position with hours and availability determined by leads and workload. As a company, we are dedicated to growing in event florals and will provide support and resources to market and develop leads. Additional, hourly work may be available within our day-to-day floral operations if a candidate is interested. Pay: 20% of project cost (10% at the time of contracting and balance upon fulfillment of the event) plus an hourly rate of $12 an hour for hours worked.

Requirements:
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in floral design. An eye for creativity, color, and design, as well as extensive knowledge of florals and trends.
Must have the ability to multi-task to oversee several projects with strong time management skills
Proficiency in Google Suite as well as the ability to learn and utilize new computer software programs.
Guest service mentality; is sociable and friendly and has a genuine desire to serve the customer.
Influencing, leading, and delegating abilities.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
Self-starter who is energetic and flexible.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results.
Comfort in creating estimates and calculating project costs
2+ years of floral design- preferably with weddings and/or events
2+ years of event planning and/or production
2+ years as a leader in event production/execution
