In 1995, an American Olympian Ralph Spinella invited me to teach foil fencing to American coaches and public at the Hartford Fencing Club.

We had a friendly bout with him and he thought that I represented a great school of foil fencing and he actually learned from me things he never knew before.

I admired that Sicilian, his fencing was great!🤺👌

In 1985 at the USSR National tournament: “Blades of Ala-Tau”, coach Marc received an award from the referees of that tournament for :”Outstanding Fencing Technique in Foil”.

He tore his knee meniscus and couldn’t take the Gold. He placed Third out of 200 fencers, but was the only one who got that award.
