I’m looking at place settings and they are wrong. Here’s a tip…

Silverware should be placed in the order you'll use them, with items used first on the outside.

Forks: Put the largest fork, also called the place fork, on the left of the plate. Other forks can be placed to the left or right of the place fork, depending on when they'll be used.

Knives: Place the knife to the right of the plate, with the BLADE FACING TOWARD the plate.

Spoons: Place the spoon to the right of the knife.
Utensils and plate: Make sure the bottoms of the utensils and the plate are level.

Glass placement: Place the water glass in the top right corner, above the knife.
