Milton Update: with the storm official past the Treasure Coast I feel comfortable making a post. We fared okay in our little hideaway, but the storm displaced a lot of boats and the preceding tornadoes really took our communities by surprise. Beach cleanup is going to be essential for our coastal ecosystems, and make sure to track down any garbage in your community that could find its way floating to our freshwater ecosystems with the receding floodwaters.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you were trying to book the Sunny octopus creates through aqua mermaid I have to tell you something. Aqua Mermaid is a scam. She advertises that she is a booking agency for mermaids around the world and especially in the United States. This is a lie. She will take your deposit, underpay the performers, give us inaccurate information, and - most importantly - she doesn’t have your interests at heart.

Bookstores, libraries, schools, and more! Mermaids Sole has many stories to explore, she'll bring them when she swims to you, to share the adventures with your crew. Storytimes include a fishy tale, a ballad of friendship, and a ride on a whale. After set your guppies free, and Sole will take pictures with each of thee! Deposit required, just a small fee, and you can can share stories with me!

It’s the 24th today because I missed the 21st night of September! But yes, I do remember, because it marks my third year of choosing a new path in life! I embraced myself for the first time, started my sobriety journey, and life suddenly had magic again. It’s important to remember these special times when everything’s getting so intense and difficult in the world. When times are tough, I run away to my happy place by the sea and let the saltwater wash my worries, and the years I spent creating them, away!

We had a great time 9th annual back to school bash!! It was so nice to see everyone and get back out in the open after our almost year long break and we’re so excited to get back to it!

In 2021 I moved to Sebastian when I was at a very low place in my life. I struggled a lot when I left the keys, and at some points I felt hopeless. Due to a concerned neighbor making the correct choice to call for a wellness check at my home, a Sebastian Police Officer was dispatched to me. He and his colleague sat with me for awhile and we spoke calmly. We discussed safer routes to make me feel safe in my new community. That night I was able to resist making a decision that would’ve nearly ended it forever. I laughed by the close of our conversation. I felt like I had a place in Sebastian more and more as the days went by thereafter.

Now, 2.5 years later, I am engaged to my wonderful fiancé and have a beautiful baby boy. Both of which would never have been able to shine their sunlight in my life if it weren’t for the care and diligence of a Sebastian Police Officer. Unfortunately, he is not pictured here, but his wonderful colleagues shared a moment with me when I shared my story with them.

Thank you for what you do: from helping people suffering from mental health setbacks, to catching golf cart thief’s, to running school supply drives in the community.

LaPorte Farms’ Back-to-School Funday! Is happening again! This event is an opportunity to donate needed school supplies for our community as well as join in on some fun family games and activities. Now through July, you can donate school supplies to our local community through LaPorte Farms 🐓 🦙
The mermaids will be making an appearance on July 27 at the event; come visit our booth for bubbles, meet and greet, and short stories!

Hey little Guppies and their amazing MerParents, as summer fast approaches I’d like to send around a PSA. Please do not use your tail without proper fins, or proper sizing. Last year I did have a little girl come to an event with a tail with no monofin. She was so excited to show me, but her excitement matched with improper equipment caused an emergency in the water in which she had a hard time breathing. It is now our policy that at mermaid events in the water with more than 5 children they do not bring or wear their monofins. Please keep your little safe!

I did not realize all the changes and adjustments that inviting a little one just naturally enforces on you. It is amazing to me how much the body and mind turn with the tide and accept this new life. I feel connected in a deep way to the power of divine feminine. I never saw myself taking this step, but with a compassionate and understanding soul at my side it seems complete. With my pillar of support by my side I feel ready to usher in this new beginning.

I wasn't going to share these publicly, but I can't help but post them! Aren't they amazing!

Thank you again LaPorte Farms for having Sunny Octopus’ very own Mermaid Morgan out for StoryTime! We had two amazing groups come through the grotto today, and so many brilliant imaginations and ideas. We shared a story about belonging, scuttled like crabs, and learned how to use our voice like the little mermaid! We can’t wait to see you all again!

A little information about Mermaid Storytime and how we share our adventures with the little guppies. B Boutique is always an amazing host for our secret journeys through the pages. Will we be seaing you there??
