We as Food trucks fight to stay afloat and even in this time of crisis there is always some venue who tries to take advantage of us and our customer base.
There is a Food truck opportunity in Leesburg Va. that would most certainly be a great thing for the residents of Leesburg however that may not happen as the Mall (Simon Malls, outlet mall ) who is sponsoring it and giving us their precious empty parking lot wants to charge the food trucks 20% of their sales. Are you serious? We won't be there and I don't think any other food trucks will take that hit. We too are small local business owners and 20% of our sales is ridiculous ! Nope it's just not going to happen. Thanks Simon Malls for that reality check.

Who we are & What we provide

Who we are: Northern Virginia Food Truck Depot is a close group of some of the areas finest independent & locally owned food trucks from around the region, who share a common interest to provide our communities & share their passion to cook with the best food around.

What we do: We provide catering, drop-off, lunch and dinner services, to many of the areas office parks, business communities, apartment & condo communities, and many area HOA’s and surrounding swimming pool communities with our mobile food trucks and food trailers.

Where we go: We have trucks all thru out the Northern VA area and cover most of the local counties like Alex., Arl., FFx, Loudoun, Pr.Wm, Clarke, Frederick and the Wi******er Area, on a daily basis. Some trucks also work weekends and depending on weather throughout the winter.

COVID 19 Situation: Many of our food trucks & trailers are currently allowed to operate and serve many communities as long as they are following the CDC guidelines and have a posted Social Distancing plan with 6ft spacing, placing cones or spacing devices. Many of our trucks have stepped up to the plate, and now have the capabilities to offer and provide online ordering - preorder service, no contact curbside pick up and depending on space can also offer a drive thru pick up service. Many of our trucks have waived their minimum fees during this time but do reserve the right to not come out if the community sales are very low. Most trucks to survive would like to a least generate sales of $500.oo better so they can at least cover cost of food, fuel and staff. Remember they have a family to support also.
