The first batch of our donors’ nameplates came in and they look great!

These are to be mounted in our new camp structure, once it’s built. There will also be a plate with a thank you message on it, but we’re still waiting for that to come in. We’ll share what that looks like when we get it 😁.

We are so honored to receive all of the support we have so far. Thank you so much to those who have donated!

To show our appreciation we will be mounting metal plates to a post inside the new structure, dedicated to those who helped. One plate will contain a thank you message. The rest will have the name or alias on each plate of a donor.

The cost for this is not coming out of the GoFundMe; it is generously being donated by a clan member.

Ahoy, mateys! We are inching ever closer to our goal! So far, $615 has been raised towards our new camp structure.

For those wondering what we’re planning, wonder no more! The money we’re raising is going towards lumber and hardware to build a basic structure similar to a pergola, but much bigger than the typical sizes you see in people’s backyards. The money will also be used to purchase canvas for the roof and walls.

The idea is to have a permanent wood skeleton put in place, while the canvas can be put up and taken down as needed.

There’s going to be plenty of room for a camp kitchen, tables, chairs and maybe even some small acts (like a minstrel or comedians) to come perform 🤩.

We will be constructing this ourselves to save on cost, but don’t worry. Our build team has plenty of construction experience and knowledge to do this right. We just need help to purchase the stuff!
