Hello friends!

Wanted to say hi, and thank you for your continued support and hello to all the new followers.

My name is Mikayla Homan and I am the owner of Homan Weddings & Events.

I am based out of Puyallup WA providing day of coordination, partial and full planning. Regardless of your assistance needed I will always be your cheerleader and support system throughout your planning process.

I create timeless modern events, embracing all color palettes and incorporating your personal style to bring your vision to life. I like to create a balance using different styles of texture and colors to tie every look perfectly together. Ooh and I don’t think you could ever have to many candles ;)

My previous couples would say I am fun to work with, keep it real, and always have their back. My number one goal as your coordinator is to bring you reassurance and peace during your planning process.

What an amazing wedding show season. It was great meeting eveyone, hearing your engagement stories, and discussing your big day. Appreciate all your support. We do have some 2024 dates still available and booking for 2025.

In 2020 Mikayla became involved with the wedding industry. She gravitated to the rustic yet, modern style incorporating her passion for the outdoors and PNW. When making our couples mock timelines we always discuss if you would like to include Golden hour - sunset photos.

Couple session can take 30-40 minutes and should take place ideally 30 minutes before sunset for the best time in terms of lighting.

as your wedding approaches, I look up the sunset time for your specific date to better plan. Accurate photo and event details for your timeline. This is also a great way for the couple to relax and enjoy that just married feeling.

not only do we love supporting our couples, but we also love supporting the local community.
Ashley Rasmussen although she is only 16 she has accomplished so much in her racing career. Not only has she won several races she is currently in the running for rookie of the year.

We love being able to support this amazing young lady, so proud of her. Exciting to be a part of her sponsorship team and support her & her racing journey with our logo on the back of her trunk…. it gives her fellow competitors something to look at as she dominates the races.

💕Wedding Tip💕 I always remind couples to bring their wedding invitations , Save the date cards, and add wedding day details from rings, ring box, flowers, shoes and any other personal items. Love to layout and capture the small details of their special day all in one photo to treasure for a lifetime.
