Klaus is not going to be able to run the Fishing contest this year.

There has been contact between a few business owner in Danbury but currently there is no one has time to help.

Unless a group wants to run it there will be no contest.

Lion’s Club Fishing Contest will return in 2022!!

As you probably know, we are unable to hold this event due to COVID-19. We will be back, bigger and better on January 22, 2022!

There will be some changes to the contest. New prizes and on the Water "Games" for everyone. "Danbury On Ice" is a fantastic event that brings the entire Town of Swiss and friends together. Its a competition, but also the largest party on such a small lake.

If you want to get out there and just have some fun THIS year, we welcome all who would like to have an informal contest to show your support for 2022 by just getting on the ice on January 23, 2021.

Yes the 4th Saturday of January....I was corrected on this many times from a GERMAN.
