If you had to know one thing about my work it’s that I love extreme angles (when appropriate of course.) I’ve found comfort in capturing from such angles because they tell a different story. It shows us that the world is truly bigger than us and I love creating shapes and stories this way.

You guys this was one of my favorite sessions yet! Aside from all the fun that comes with cap and gown photos Annie wanted something unique to her session. After a lot of brainstorming and a little convincing, Annie and I ventured to the Brooklyn bridge at 7 am on a Sunday morning to take this iconic shots!

The way I’ve been so excited to talk to you guys about this session!!!! Back in April I had the amazing opportunity to capture graduation photos in NYC! Annie and I worked closely together while at Hurst on multiple projects for the fashion department however, this time she’s in front of the camera! Annie graduated with a degree in Fashion both from Mercyhurst and FIT! I’m so excited to share this series with everyone as it’s one of the biggest photography projects I’ve had to date and I’m absolutely obsessed with these photos! Fun story about this session- when I was still in my college days, I was an orientation leader. My very first class of first years is very special to me for so many reasons- but especially because I met Amanda from that group. Getting to shoot with her and Alissa was so emotional for me because it feels like they were just freshman on iMU zoom yesterday. I’m so incredibly proud of them and I can’t believe time has flown by that fast!🥹🎓

Happy Sunday all- it brings me great sadness to share to I am almost out of grad posts for the year. But, no tears just yet because today’s feature should bring a smile to your face! Amanda and Alissa were roommates all through their time at Hurst and getting to capture their send off was an incredible honor for me. The first graduate I’d like to highlight is Cara! This session was personally one of my most anticipated for several reasons. First, I had the opportunity to travel back to Pennsylvania for the first time in awhile, and secondly, I’ve known for Cara for twenty years. Cara and I have been the best of friends since kindergarten and getting to capture her grad portraits for her masters degree is an honor I cannot fully describe using words. I’m incredibly proud of her and it’s an honor getting to capture and share these beautiful portraits of her! Cara graduated with her masters in Criminology from IUP! Go Crimson Hawks!❤️🦅
