The day after Memorial Day, for us the weekend comes and goes and life goes on. Remember, the service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice and their families. This weekend was so much more, and the live it everyday. Memorial Day isn’t just a weekend, it’s a life time sentence. Always remember and pray for the service members and their families. Not just for 1 day, but for the whole year.

Anyone who knows me knows this is going to be a very special statue to me. I’ve had to stop painting so many times to hold back the tears.

I had a springer spaniel for 16 years who was my absolute best friend in the world. There’s not a single day I don’t miss her. This statue looks like so much like her already! It’s so hard to finish!
