We’re Brit and Elliet and we are Texas born and bred chicks who followed our callings into wedding photography and freaking rock at it (don’t mind us over here, brushing our shoulders off…). We know all the best places to elope in Texas because we’ve spent our entire lives living in and exploring them. We cover stunning locations from Enchanted Rock in the Texas Hill Country, Big Bend National Par

k along the Rio Grande River, all the way to Palo Duro Canyon in Amarillo. We are especially passionate about helping couples find the hidden gem, off-the-beaten-path, stunning "local's secret" type of locations to say their vows. There's nothing we love more than helping couples create the authentic intimate wedding day of their dreams where you conquer an amazing adventure together and have the privacy and safety to truly be yourselves.

There is 1 word that many couples use to drescribe the wedding planning process...

And that word is: Stressful 😰

There are so many components to weddings that cause those stressful, overwhelming moments while you plan your big day (you know, those "I want to pull my hair out" moments). It's these moments and feelings that have us telling you that there is a better way to say "I do"!

Here are 3 ways elopements eliminate the stress of a traditional wedding:

⏱️ Limited Planning: Instead of planning 2-3 years ahead, having 100+ guests and making sure everyone one of them has RSVP'd with their correct food order, take the elopement route! Elopements typically take 3-6 months to plan, not a year, or longer! We've even captured stunning elopements that took less than 3 months to plan and execute!

💸 Less Expensive: Y'all already knew we had to bring this one up! With inflation rising + wedding planning breaking the bank, eloping is the way to go! Even with guests, other vendors and accomodations, having an elopement is significantly cheaper than a traditonal wedding.

🤍 Quality Time: Let's be honest, it's hard to have those quality moments with your loved ones when there's 175 people and you're being pulled to say "Hi" to your cousins boyfriend that you've never met (Is his name Ryan or Zach?). Eloping really prioritizes and emphasizes intimacy, fun + the time you get to spend with all of your loved ones.

Texas Adventure Elopements has officially opened its doors to other vendors (not just photographers) and those who subscribed through email will get the chance to get your locations picked today before public 🥳 this gives our brides a better experience when planning their elopement in Texas.

This announcement has truly been a long time coming and because of this, there’s one more! We now have a Texas Adventure Elopement magazine!

You will be able to submit features, be seen as a top of Texas vendor in the magazine, do social media take overs, blog features for SEO, leads for your location and much more!

Spring is a popular season for elopements and our volume 1 magazine will provide inspiration, ideas, tip and tricks on choosing the right locations, the right attire, 2023 elopement trends, and creating a meaningful ceremony.

You heard about Ellie’s top moments of 2023, now it’s time for you to hear Brit’s!

Brit’s top 3 memories-
📸 having clients inquire thinking they want Colorado or Texas but ends up their personalities fit better with Alaska & Iceland
📸 Shooting a family session where a little girl was surprised with sweet love letters from dad who had passed away
📸 Getting to see my couples faces while they cried on the elopements where they let me have free reign and surprise them with locations

With all of the amazing memories and opportunities we’ve had this year, we cannot wait for next year 🤍

With this being this last week of 2022, it has us thinking about all the fun we’ve had as a team this year! So many new places, tons of new faces, and lots of memories to go along with them, so we thought we’d share them with y’all!

It was hard, but we both narrowed down our top 3 memories of 2022 (and maybe even included a couple of more). First up, we have Ellie’s top moments!

Ellie’s top 3 Moments:
✨ Matthew + Carolina's Elopement morning where they sat at the top of Lost Mine together and re-read all the letters, poems, and other gifts from the past 10 years of their relationship SO CUTE i cried
✨ Sunrise at the Lighthouse for Lacey + Blakes Elopement. Moon and blue hour photos were unreal
✨ Driving the Going to the Sun Road for the First Time during my Glacier National Park Elopements

and my runner up moments are:
👉🏻 the rental car place not allowing me to rent a car and then having to take 4 separate ubers and getting stranded at a hotel in the middle of the night in LA so fun.
👉🏻 getting my camera bag stolen from me at cannon beach
👉🏻 getting caught in a snowstorm on the way home from a palo duro elopement and fishtailing off the road and then getting stuck at a mcdonalds parking lot until I could find a place to stay for 2 days until the roads thawed out and I could make it home!

Even with the crazy moments, we still loved every bit of this year 🤍

We actually don't even stay in Texas… Shocker, I know. Today, we are letting you in of our little secret - just in case you didn't know, Texas Adventure Elopements is an extension of so we travel A LOT outside of just Texas ✈️
