Piranha Plantette - .night
I hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a great first ACen. I was a little nervous going to such a big con-- I don't love super crowded spaces- but besides the artist alley, it wasn't too bad!
My favorite parts:
The DJs were bumping and it was really cool seeing TeddyLoid!!
Cosplay meet ups were fun and the JJK one I hosted had a great turnout! I would have been happy with 5 people showing up since it was unofficial, but there was over 30, at least. Everyone was so awesome and looked great.
I didn't shoot much (for the best) but I still got to shoot at all the popular locations, and surprisingly it wasn't too hard to avoid getting other people in the background of photos. I'm excited to start editing!
Etc, etc, many good times were had.
If I go again I'd want to get a closer hotel. We stayed at the Comfort Inn, which was a nice place but over 2 miles away from the convention center. The shuttle was consistent and never got too off-schedule, but overall it was a little inconvenient, especially when I was lugging around photography gear. Being closer would have been nice for giving us more time to explore the many, MANY things this con has to offer.
Anyways that's my acen talk on this photo from no brand 😂 Expect an accompanying photo to this soon. I would have made them a set but I didn't wanna crop em.
