🎉 Meet the New Drummer of the Matt Clarkson Band! 🎉

We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the MCB family!

🎉Please help us welcome Keith Shook to the Matt Clarkson Band! 🥁

❓We asked Keith a few questions that will help you all get to know him and hopefully soon get to meet him at a show!!…

✨How long has he played the drums?

I started playing drums when I was 7 and I have been playing ever since. I grew up in Pittsburgh and played in a variety of bands through school and beyond, and I have always found a way to stay behind a kit.

✨Favorite artist or drummer?

My all time favorite drummer is John Bonham. Growing up I was heavily influenced by Travis Barker, and lately I have really been enjoying Jake Sommers and what he brings to modern country. I like pulling from that mix of classic rock power, punk energy, and country feel.

✨What does he like to do in his free time?

Most of my free time is spent with my wife and kids, either hanging out at home or running to different activities. When I get a little time to myself, I am usually watching sports, working on new drum ideas, or catching up with friends.

✨What is he looking forward to most being in MCB?

I am really excited about playing with this group of guys and helping bring Matt’s songs to life. The chemistry in the room and the strength of the songwriting are what pulled me in. I am looking forward to building big, dynamic live moments around these songs, feeding off the crowd, and being part of a band that is growing together on and off the stage.

👏🏼We can’t wait for you all to hear what he brings to the table.

We’re still riding the high from our award! 🏆 but with that being said here is what is in store for near future!

🥁 we begin practicing with our new drummer and we will make that announcement soon.

🎶 we are bringing a 💯 percent new set list to you for 2026
As we evolve.. You’ll be seeing some instruments you’re not used to seeing on our stage😉.

Our goal for 2026 is to dig deeper and connect with our fans on a higher level than ever before!
