Johns Creek Cricket Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the goal of bringing cricket lovers together to make Johns Creek a destination city for cricket in the Southeast. The Chopin Society of Atlanta is a non-profit organization that since early 2000 has been devoted to promoting Fryderyk Chopin’s music, and is committed to performing at the Legacy Center. The Society funds annual scholarships for the piano students to participate in international piano master classes in Europe.

Can you picture it? In 2019, The Legacy Center Task Force commissioned Convergent NonProfit Solutions to conduct an extensive study of the community support and economic feasibility of building the Legacy Center.⁠⁠
Interviews were conducted with 185 Johns Creek and area community leaders. These interviewees are virtually unanimous that the arts are an essential part of Johns Creek’s quality of life. They are proud of the high level of activity in arts education and performance. It makes sense that there should be a centrally-located landmark building devoted to the visual and performing arts.⁠⁠

Banks and Shane began playing music in Atlanta in August, 1972. Over the years, the band has performed around the U.S. and around the world, on concert stages, nightclubs, ski resorts, and almost every venue imaginable. They owned and operated one of Atlanta’s most popular restaurant/supper clubs.
