3 more babies born in the early hours of January 14th, 2025. Frankie had a rough start, unable to walk or stand. I wrapped her in a heating blanket, tube fed her, then dropped her off with my friend so I could head to work for the day. Within a few hours, she was up and moving and taking the bottle like a champ. All 3 babies are healthy and happy! Mamma is doing great, too.

*Unfortunately, Mama did not take back Frankie, so she is already on the bottle.

Let's talk about Francesca for a moment. Look at those moonspots!! She is identical to her daddy and will not be available for adoption. Francis is retired and only has a few more kids coming in 2025. If you want a kid from Francis' line, this will be the last season to do so.

We had 3 babies born on the farm early this morning! Our first kids of 2025, 2 girls and 1 boy. (Lighting is bad, will get better photos when the sun comes up).

My favorite photo from 2024

This is Tw***ie. She was by far the best kid of 2024. And she just so happened to also make my favorite photo of 2024.

Here's why:
1. Temperament: friendly, affectionate, & chill
2. Color: phenomenal
3. Spiciness: minimal (spicy goats are more work, lol)
4. Personality: top tier - loved snuggles
5. Trainability: 9/10

Why I didn't keep her:
She was/is polled. Unfortunately, I can not keep any females that are polled (born without horns). She went to an excellent home and is living her best life as a pet goat with her new herd.

Why can't I have polled does (ladies)?
My buck (male goat) is polled. Therefore, all the does (ladies) MUST be horned (mine are, but their horns have been removed). Breeding a polled goat to another polled goat can and WILL cause hermaphrodite kids. This will also create infertile, sterile, and unsellable goats. Breeding polled to polled is extremely unethical and should not be supported or encouraged.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Goat Rentals will no longer run 7 days a week. Rentals will only be available Fridays through Sundays.

If you have already booked an event for 2025 on a closed date, you will be contacted this week to update your booking. If you are NOT contacted, your goat rental will not be required to be changed, and you can keep your scheduled event.
